The Greentech Leadership Group (GTLG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing policy leadership for the sector by connecting innovators with policymakers. Participants in the organization are leading companies, clean technology business organizations and policy experts in the areas of renewable energy (solar, biomass, wind, and geothermal), alternatives fuels, carbon management, energy efficiency, and other green technology innovators.
Fostering dialogue between policymakers and the green technology sector - GTLG is forming a one-of-a-kind network for the green technology sector. We strive to create extraordinary interaction between the green technology business community and leading policymakers to foster an understanding of the synergies, solutions, and opportunities for California to lead the nation in green economic growth.
Providing insight and education - GTLG provides insight into the policymaking process and bureaucratic structure, while offering critical resources for tracking and understanding clean technology events, policies, and emerging opportunities.
Supporting green economic development - GTLG helps create green jobs and connect career professionals. We work with companies and groups across the state to coordinate regional efforts and represent the state’s cleantech sector to facilitate national and international policy development and business opportunities.
