The Greentech Leadership Group’s strong presence in Sacramento and focus on California state politics provides the California Cleantech Leadership Council (CCLC) with intimate access to elected and appointed officials, state policymakers and regulators, energy and environmental advocates, and thought leaders. Through our established communication channels, members will actively participate in the dialogue surrounding environmental and energy policy while providing input on behalf of their regional membership.
Access key policymakers through our Cleantech Connect Program and help drive the future of state policy. GTLG will guide CCLC to develop policy recommendations and present them to lawmakers, demonstrating a statewide industry position.
Foster regional and statewide alliance with cleantech cluster organizations from Sacramento, the Tri-Valley, Bay Area, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego regions as well as strengthen relationships with state policymakers. Each quarter, GTLG will coordinate programs and activities to facilitate cooperation between CCLC members and sharing of best practices between cluster representatives and member companies. Our website and social media platform extends CCLC members’ network beyond their respective regions to reach stakeholders in the Capitol and throughout the state.
Our close working relationships with key policymakers gives us unique insight into the intent of proposed administrative and legislative policies and also gives us the ability to relay the industry’s perspective. Most importantly, our years of experience working around and within state government gives GTLG the understanding of the political realities guiding these policies. This allows us to prioritize issues and convene stakeholders for strategic action.
